This week we want to share a couple of exciting Londonewcastle updates with you all, as well as give a shout out to the We Feed The World exhibition as this weekend marks the end of its time at the Bargehouse Gallery at South Bank

LN Charitable Foundation

Here at Londonewcastle, we have always been passionate about giving back to the community. In an effort to take this to a global scale and help those who need it the most, we are excited to announce that we have established The Londonewcastle Charitable Foundation.

The foundation’s first project targets a disadvantaged migrant community from Myanmar lacking basic health care and educational facilities. This need hit close to home for us as we understand the importance of bringing sound infrastructure to every growing community. It takes only £25,000 to get this community the basic infrastructure it needs to ensure the health and education of its members.
We invite our friends and business partners to join us on our journey in making a huge difference for this small community by donating whatever you can. All the information on the community and on how to donate can be read in our booklet. Your help is greatly appreciated! If you had any questions about the project or the foundation, please reach out – we would love to fill you in!

Please copy and paste this link into your browser to open the leaflet and find out more about the cause and you can make a difference and donate!

Londonewcastle Interior Design

Things are in full swing in the Interior Design department at Londonewcastle, so much so that we thought it was only right to inform you of some of our latest highlights!

Lux Life is a bimonthly luxury lifestyle magazine which gives readers an insight into everything top-notch in London, from health and beauty, food, hotels and everything in between. Each year they give accolade to the best in the business, and this year our Head of Interior Design, Trilbey Gordon was given the award for the Best High-End Interior Design Consultant; so as you can imagine, we were pretty thrilled.

The second highlight of the season so far was being approached by award-winning luxury interior design blogger, Grant Pierrus, to take part in his Interior Style Hunter podcast. Earlier this month the first episode featuring COO Robert Soning and Head of Londonewcastle’s Head of Interior Design Trilbey Gordon went live! In this episode they talk about everything from inspiration, challenges and exciting future projects, so we highly recommend you give it a listen if you are in a rut and need a bit of motivation - https://bit.ly/2yi48n9

We Feed the World at South Bank

This weekend, the Bargehouse Gallery at South Bank is wrapping up its latest exhibition, We Feed the World. This installation has made a name for itself, and rightly so, because it showcases the great achievements made by smallholder farmers worldwide who produce 70% of the food we eat globally.

According to About Time Magazine: ‘The exhibit challenges the myth that we need industrial agriculture and quick-fix technologies to feed an ever increasing population. These world-renowned photographers capture agroecology in action, revealing that smallholder farming holds the answers to many of the world’s problems; from climate change to fertile soils.’

Over the course of the last three years, some of the most highly-esteemed photographers on the globe, such as Rankin and Gradciela Iturbide, have made their contributions to this exposition by documenting the lives of approximately 50 farming communities over six different continents.

Fad Magazine have praised this festival by stating: ‘We Feed the World is a bold and ambitious collaboration between the arts, environmental and business sectors, who have come together for the first time to share the inspiring stories of regenerative agriculture across the world.

Showing until Sunday 22nd October, this powerful exhibit will be food for thought indeed!
