If you ever find yourself in South London’s Deptford, a journey to Mama's Jerk should be put at the top of your list for many reasons: it’s delicious, it’s delicious and it’s delicious.

Nestled in Deptford Market Yard, Mama's Jerk lures its diners in with spicy yet sweet aromas of Caribbean cooking. Even though the menu is simple, it is still impossible to choose. Even though the BBQ Chicken Cocobun was staring at me, the Jerk Chicken Roti Wrap was the winner, and boy oh boy was it the perfect decision! Filled with jerk chicken goodness and Caribbean salad and beans, the Roti Wrap was sensationally spicy and completely lip-smacking, complemented with fried plantain and jerk sauce…heaven. Don’t get me wrong, it was positively sumptuous, but the star of the show was the pineapple and mango mayo. I’m not lying when I say I would go back just for that mayo alone.

All in all, Mama's Jerk is a gem within the viaducts of Deptford Market Yard and you would be a fool not to sample it for yourself.

This weekend from 8th-11th September, Camden’s Roundhouse will be celebrating all things Israeli with an exciting four-day event, called TLV in LND.

London Fashion Week season is almost upon us and what better way to get into the spirit than with an exceptional photography exhibition by luxury British fashion giant, Burberry. Here We Are will be an exquisite display that celebrates everything British, with an added twist of Burberry luxe.

This elegant showcase of fine photography will start on 18th September in the striking Grade II listed building in Clerkenwell, The Old Sessions House. Over 200 works of photography will feature in this creative installation, by 30 of the best photographers Britain has to offer. Now, I could go on about this sensational display but the Chief Creative Officer of Burberry, Christopher Bailey, couldn't have summed it up better: '(The photographers) provide a portrait of British life, in all its nuances, both exceptional and mundane, beautiful and harsh. It's the spirit of those photographs – sometimes ironic, sometimes tender, always truthful.' - Beautifully said indeed.
