Nothing says summer like a nice (large) glass of rosé, except taking a ride on the world's fasted zip wire...

Cheers to London's First Rosé Festival

As soon as we Brits get a taste for the summer season, there is only one thing on our minds…a crisp glass of rosé. How convenient that this summer, London will be host to the UK’s first festival devoted to rosé wine. Starting Friday 21st July – Sunday 23rd July, Hoxton’s Geffrye Museum will transform into a shrine for rosé wine, what could be better?

The two men to thank for this sumptuous affair are Chris Crosby and Myles Donneky, two friends who bonded over their enjoyment of the pink stuff. Chris and Myles saw a gap in the festival market and decided to give the British people what they wanted: ‘Whether you’re in the Alps, on the beach, or at a garden party in London, rosé is becoming more popular.’ We couldn’t have said it better ourselves!

With tickets on offer for £15, visitors can sip their way through 30 samples of various produce of rosé. To complement your tipple, the festival will also be host a number of lip-smacking, gourmet food vendors, including gourmet Bubbledogs and Bob’s Lobster.

Will Martyr's Wanderlust

This summer, Will Martyr is unveiling Wanderlust at Unit London in Soho, a romanticised exhibition that will transport you to a picture-perfect dream world. The paintings in this exhibition are worthy of a luxury travel brochure and have an air of the surrealist artistic movement of the 20th century.

Until 29th July, Wanderlust will showcase 20 air-brushed paintings that have been designed to bring one of the hottest topics of today to the forefront of our minds – ‘how current the mass-consumption of imagery affects our perception of reality.’

Martyr got inspiration from his own travel experiences and used personal pictures to create the images, by altering them on this computer before conveying them onto the canvas. This chocolate-box, seductive display heightens Martyr’s stamp in the world of contemporary art and showcases the greatness of his talent.

Zip it!

Do you ever miss the good old days when you went to the park and played for endless hours on the zip wire? Now that the adult years have set in and you actually have to act somewhat grown up, some would deem it unacceptable to spend your summer weekends in the playground at the park. But that doesn’t mean you have to miss out on all of the fun activities that you used to do when you were a young tot.

Be prepared, because the longest and fastest zip wire in the world has finally landed in London. On this exhilarating adventure, you take off 100 feet above ground at Archbishop’s Park South Bank and see London in a way that you never thought possible.

This is an opportunity not to pass up, so make sure to get your tickets and tick off something from your bucket list: http://bit.ly/2tp4yHl
