Cheers to London's First Rosé Festival
Food and Drink
As soon as we Brits get a taste for the summer season, there is only one thing on our minds…a crisp glass of rosé. How convenient that this summer, London will be host to the UK’s first festival devoted to rosé wine. Starting Friday 21st July – Sunday 23rd July, Hoxton’s Geffrye Museum will transform into a shrine for rosé wine, what could be better?
The two men to thank for this sumptuous affair are Chris Crosby and Myles Donneky, two friends who bonded over their enjoyment of the pink stuff. Chris and Myles saw a gap in the festival market and decided to give the British people what they wanted: ‘Whether you’re in the Alps, on the beach, or at a garden party in London, rosé is becoming more popular.’ We couldn’t have said it better ourselves!
With tickets on offer for £15, visitors can sip their way through 30 samples of various produce of rosé. To complement your tipple, the festival will also be host a number of lip-smacking, gourmet food vendors, including gourmet Bubbledogs and Bob’s Lobster.
