We are pleased to announce our involvement in the inaugural Shoreditch Fringe which will run from 1 June to 1 September 2012 and offer 100 days of arts & culture in London’s most exciting area - and where we continue to operate the Londonewcastle Project Space.
Over 250 leading cultural organisations in the area have joined together in support of the development of a Summer festival inspired by the pioneer spirit of the original Edinburgh Fringe festivals. The our aim is to have an impact beyond both the local area and create an enduring legacy to build audiences for arts & culture.
The programme is going to be brimming with innovative events, installations, pop-ups, performances and happening’s conceived and produced by the Shoreditch Fringe network of businesses, organisations, artists, agencies and more. Central to the spirit of the Shoreditch Fringe is the idea of community and cross-collaboration… and we are hoping to match this ethos with a mini festival of our own - more details will follow on our Arts Programme pages, register/ subscribe for updates here.
Major established events like Alpha-Ville, CREATE and StreetFest are already on the cards along side a massive street party…and giant skate ramp. Sign up for updates at www.shoreditchfringe.org
