Londonewcastle sponsors Waterloo FC

17th November 2008

Waterloo FC is a non-profit organisation founded by local young people and parents, concerned with the lack of sport provision for young people in Waterloo and the surrounding area. Their vision is of a world where young people are no longer disadvantaged by their financial, geographic or family circumstances, where they can develop their skills and abilities to be successful in the world in their own right and belong to a supportive and inclusive community.

Waterloo FC offers young people the opportunity to train as FA qualified coaches, who then volunteer or gain employment with the Club, this has allowed the Club to provide a programme of year round sporting activities for children and young people, aged 7-18. Recently Aziz Deen Conteh, who played with Waterloo FC for four years and signed with Chelsea FC last year at U15’s, has now been selected for the England U16’s squad.

Londonewcastle are proud to be associated with this dedicated organisation and are pleased to be able to assist Waterloo FC improve the lives of young people within London.
