About Perfume, Sir?

After the success of two consecutive Bar Alto events hosted at Londonewcastle Project Space during London Design Festival in 2011 and 2012, DesignMarketo are back once again for LDF2013.

Recognised for organising unprecedented experimental events while promoting designers, DesignMarketo is entering a new world which we believe will have more and more importance in our close future: the world of fragrances and perfumes.

True to our tradition, DesignMarketo has commissioned a dozen designers to create either limited editions of specially made glass vessels to hold perfumes, or the perfumes themselves. But the perfumes to be presented will have a very specific touch, as they will be “Perfumes for food and drinks”— to complement or alter taste and flavour, to remember or extend an instant.

Showcasing exclusive products by:

Arlette Ess (CH); Chiara Onida & AUT (IT); Lex Pott (NL); Odd Matter (NL/BG); Peter Marigold (UK); Pia Wustenberg (UK/NO); and Zaven (IT).

Let the surprise of the senses and the sense of surprise inhibit you with intriguing fragrances to be discovered in London in September.
