Alex Noble's Creatures from the Kaleidoscope

Mixed media solo exhibition involving, film, sculpture, sound, installation and works of fine art.

ABOUT THE EXHIBITION:

Creatures From The Kaleidoscope is a mixed media solo exhibition involving, film, sculpture, sound, installation and works of fine art. Artist Alex Noble will displays his visceral aesthetic as he hones in on his captivating style and creates an immersive world for the spectator.

Exploring pattern, colour and their relationship through refracted and carefully thought out compositions, Noble’s pieces become iconographic in their immense entirity, reminiscent of stain glass windows, large mosaics and the pallettes of rich motifs such as religious Hindu imagery. Pattern and shape are partnered with the human form and abstracted through habitats and objects, producing works ambiguous to a specific past or future; like thresholds to parallel realities.

Noble’s acclaimed illustration, mannequin installations and large-scale artwork will accompany the exhibition and allow the viewer to better understand his intersections between fashion and contemporary art through this seminal show.
