Deptford’s old Grade II listed railway carriage ramp has been restored and opened as a market. The fourteen railway arches and the ramp is home to a variety of local and independent businesses offering a place to eat, drink and shop. To name a few, boutique homeware shop Win & Ruby, ethical hair salon The Box, African clothing stalls Gita’s Portal and Be London, Little Nan’s, Mama’s Jerk, The Cheese Truck and Frankie goes to Bollywood are amongst others located in the market. The market is a series of projects planned to develop the Deptford area. Offering space to a variety of businesses, the market will aim to attract Londoners into visiting the area, hopefully making it a booming creative hotspot.
The market is open seven days a week: Mon-Fri 11am-10pm, Sat 10:30am- 10pm, Sun 10:30am-6pm.
