Issue 04

Fan out over Grandmaster Flash's London tour, get a taste for gelato in the West End and pop into Popin' Pete's new pop up shop.

Now, What you Hear is not a Test…

…I’m rappin' to the beat, and me, the groove, and my friends are gonna try to move your feet.

Tomorrow night, Wednesday 29th, Superstar DJ, Grandmaster Flash is at the 02 rolling his Wheels of Steel.

Meanwhile, Superstar dancer, Sylvie Guillem, performs the first of her last shows ever in the Capital at the Coliseum.

The big questions are; are they holding a joint after show, and where at??

Only London, the world’s superstar city, could host such cultural diversity on one night.

Gelupo Gelato and Sorbets, Soho

I feel that there is a real lack of ice cream parlours in the West End, so I decided to do some research and find somewhere that sells delicious Italian gelato.

Little did I know that only 15 minutes away from me was Gelupo – 'the dolce in la dolce vita'. Tucked away in the midst of buzzing Soho, Gelupo offers Londoners delicious creamy gelato, with classic flavours such as hazelnut, pistachio, ricotta coffee and honey and bacio.

They even offer you some samples to help you choose.

Popin’ Pete Pop Shop at Londonewcastle Project Space

Popin' Pete will be holding their launch party at our Project Space in Shoreditch on Wednesday 12th August. It is also United Nation's International Youth Day so they will be having a whole day of celebrations with young people from Plymouth, Leeds, Nottingham and London.

They have recently returned from Leeds where they had over 200 people taking part, raising an impressive £300 for Macmillan Cancer.
