Following the closure of Londonewcastles original project space in Shoreditch, after a successful eight years, the new and more intimate Gallery 46 has opened in Summer 2016.

 

We started our Arts Programme because we’re passionate about more than just property. Our aim: to bring London’s creative community and its vacant spaces together, giving new artists a place to showcase their work. Gallery 46 – Whitechapel

Gallery 46 in Whitechapel is our new sister gallery to be used as Londonewcastle Project Space. Neon + Vinyl

Plus Art Project’s Alternative Frieze show ‘Neon + Vinyl’ is exhibiting new art works by over 30 leading artists including Tracey Emin, Sarah Lucas, Mat Collishaw, Gavin Turk, Franko B, Mustafa Hulusi, Regina Silveira, Amanda Eliasch, Peter Lamb and Paul Hoskin, Dave Woods, Peter Ainsworth, Alex Baker, Phil Wilson-Perkin, Warren McLachlan, Tim Bromage, Mark Croxford, Morag Myerscough, Kim Fielding, Dominc Allan, John Tiney, Jason Davidge, Stik, Melville Mitchell, Nick Kennedy, Will Strong, John Close and Will Marshall amongst others.

The show is unique in drawing together such a wide range of creative talent to work with media traditionally associated with street level advertising and industrial processes. We are challenging artists to subvert these media and find new ways to communicate.

Curated and produced by neonist Kerry Ryan, artist Declan McMullan and Jessica Temple, ‘Neon + Vinyl’ is the 4th Frieze week show from Plus Art Projects.
